Investment Policy &
Investment Screening Process
CCP operates principally in the
tourism and leisure sectors, which are seen as major growth
areas of the Croatian economy. Nonetheless we maintain awareness
of all major developments and we have taken into our portfolio
some non-tourism city-centre developments (retail and office
complexes) which are particularly attractive.
We have a policy of working only with organisations in Croatia
which have a good reputation and a track record of success. Our
Investment Advisory Committee in Croatia includes Croatia’s
foremost advisors and experts on finance and tourism.
Many corporate investors wish to invest in quality capital
projects in Croatia, provided that such projects are
“above-board” and have proper documentation, support and backup.
However, although there are many good capital projects, in many
cases the underlying documentation is inadequate and not of a
standard high enough to satisfy the demands of the highly
developed, regulated and sophisticated western-European
investment community.
CCP screens all capital projects and passes for more detailed
analysis only those which have adequate supporting documentation
and which our experience indicates have the potential to be
successful and very profitable. We perform an initial
due-diligence investigation and check on each project, and
present the projects to potential investors, offering full
support, advice and project-management, as required.
We have well-established relationships on an associate basis
with a full range of professional advisors and
service-providers, including solicitors, architects and
commercial credit and finance organisations, to assist investors
with the finance, organisation and implementation of projects
and to enable us to provide our clients with every necessary
support facility.
